Privacy Policy

This policy describes how LiveDraft handles information when you use the extension, this website, and optional AI features. For how you may use the product, see the Terms of Use.

What stays on your device

The text you paste to be typed, your speed/accuracy settings, and the target field you pick are stored in the browser’s extension storage on your computer. Ordinary typing does not send that document to us. We do not see your Google account.

What we receive if you use AI

If you turn on AI draft → revise, the extension sends the pasted text to the LiveDraft API (a Cloudflare Worker) so we can plan rewrites. That text is sent onward to our model provider (currently xAI) to produce the plan. We store a license identifier, token balance, and usage amounts needed to meter credit. We do not use your documents to train a public model of our own.

Payments

Token packs are sold by Polar. Polar (and its payment processors) collect the email, payment, and tax information needed to complete checkout and email you a license key. We receive order and license events so we can credit your wallet. We do not receive your full card number.

This website

The marketing site is static. We do not run accounts on it. Hosting and DNS providers (for example Cloudflare) may process standard request logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed.

Cookies and ads

We do not run advertising networks on this site or in the extension.

Sharing

We share information only with processors who help us run the Service (hosting, AI inference, Polar payments), if required by law, or if needed to protect the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

Wallet and usage records are kept as long as needed to provide credit, prevent abuse, and meet legal or tax duties. You can remove local paste text by clearing extension storage or uninstalling.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
